Tales of Xillia, long awaited sequel in the popular Tales series, has now gotten its European, Asian and Australian release date. The game will hit stores there in August 9th 2013, and in America on August 6th. Namco Bandai games announced today that the upcoming title will have a 'Day one edition' and a Collector's edition.
The collector's edition is called 'Tales of Xillia: Milla Maxwell Collector's Edition' and features a 21.5 cm Milla figurine based on the games artwork, the original soundtrack and a high quality hardback art book, all included in a newly designed box. There will only be made 10 000 copies of this version and it will only be available on www.talesofgame.com for £85.99, customers pre-ordering off the site will get an exclusive costume for Jude and Milla as well as a PS3 custom theme.
There will also be a day one edition available at a few select retailers and will be priced the same as the normal version. This edition will include an art book and the original soundtrack and if pre-ordered it will also come with an exclusive costume for Jude and Milla as well as a PS3 custom theme.
Tales of Xillia is the latest episode in the beloved Tales of series. The game follows Jude Mathis, a clever medical student attending school in the capital city, and Milla Maxwell, a mysterious woman accompanied by four unseen beings. Players will be able to choose either Jude or Milla at the outset of their adventure through the world of Rieze Maxia, where humans and spirits live together in harmony. The kingdom of Rashugal has been experimenting with a powerful source that led to draining the mana from the world. Realizing the harm it is inflicting on the world, Jude and Milla set off on a journey to destroy it and restore the mana back to the world.
