Torment: Tides of Numenera; the most funded video game kickstarter of all time

The long anticipated sequel to the nearly 15 year old game Planescape: Torment has been on kickstarter since March 6th with an original goal of 900 000$ has now just tipped over four million.

With that it has become the most backed game to be presented on kickstarter thus far. Some would argue the most motivating factor for going this high is the reward tier at 3.5 million wich promises the involvement og Chris Avellone, original lead designer on Planescape: Torment.

By passing the four million mark, the game will also feature more music by the original composer in the previous game; Mark Morgan. The next reward tier is at 4.25 million and highly unlikely to be passed with the few hours left on the clock. But reaching four million at all is a great achievement and I'm sure that will pump the dev team to make the best game they can.

The GameView take of their hats and congratulates InXile Entertainment.
